Dallas Mavericks will get a playoff feel as the Celtics are physical and exploit weaknesses

The Mavs know the physicality and intensity picks up in the playoffs. The referees lay off their whistles and let both teams play. Having to win four games against the same opponent forces teams to search for weaknesses and find ways to exploit them.

Marcus Smart is one of the league’s best perimeter defenders. He competes hard and will give Luka Doncic fits with his physical play whenever the Mavericks superstar is on the floor. Boston is comfortable switching Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and even their big men on Doncic. They will play hard and look to wear the 23-year-old down over the 48 minutes.

The Celtics are going to look to exploit weaknesses in the Mavericks' defense. Expect Tatum and Brown to try to get Luka defending on the ball on Sunday afternoon. It will be fascinating to see what holes they can find in the Mavs' improved defense and how well Boston exploits them on their home floor.
