“Dream Team” Dallas Mavericks rotation

PG: Jalen Brunson, Fred VanVleet, Gabe Vincent

SG: Luka Doncic, Tyrese Maxey, Terance Mann

SF: Khris Middleton, Duncan Robinson, Joe Ingles

PF: Draymond Green, Royce O’Neale

C: Bam Adebayo, Bobby Portis

There are some other players who could have been thrown into this mix, such as Jaden Hardy, who the Dallas Mavericks picked in 2022, or Tyus Jones, who the Mavericks could have hypothetically picked instead of Bobby Portis, but this rotation is elite.

At the guard spots, the Mavericks have a superstar in Luka Doncic, an All-Star in Fred VanVleet, and one guy who should have been an All-Star this past season in Jalen Brunson. Plus, Tyrese Maxey looks like he has the potential to be an All-Star.

Add in Gabe Vincent and Terance Mann, and the guard spots are set.

Moving on, the shot creation and shooting of Khris Middleton would pair beautifully alongside Luka Doncic, while Duncan Robinson’s three-point stroke and Joe Ingles’ 3&D play would create a great bench.

Draymond Green’s and Bam Adebayo’s presence on defense would solidify Dallas as one of the best defensive teams in the league. Throw in Royce O’Neale, and the defense gets even better.

Rounding out the rotation, Bobby Portis would be the perfect backup center, as his shooting and energy would give Dallas a great spark off the bench.

This team would undoubtedly compete for a championship.

It’s always fun to think about what could have been.
