Dallas Mavericks starting lineup, rotation with Maxi Kleber back
By Tyler Watts
What could change for the Dallas Mavericks going forward?
Expect coach Rick Carlisle to ride with this starting five and rotation for a bit. Something will pop up that forces him to adjust, though. Be it an injury or matchup, things will remain fluid, and the Mavericks have a lot of talented players that could work their way back into the rotation.
Dwight Powell is first in line. He is coming off a torn Achilles and missing significant time in the health and safety protocols. Powell brought energy in Saturday’s game against the Suns, though. Expect him to get a crack if one of the big men get in foul trouble or are struggling in a specific matchup.
Josh Green and Wesley Iwundu will also see minutes at some point. Both players bring energy and defense to the Mavericks. It will likely take an injury, but fans have not seen them for the last time.
Boban Marjanovic will find his way into minutes too. Fans know he can dominate in the right matchup.
Everyone will finally find out what the Dallas Mavericks have to offer with a healthy roster. They gave Phoenix all they could handle on Feb. 1 before dropping a heartbreaker. The best is yet to come for the Mavs. Stay tuned.
