Luka Doncic puts on a show in second half as Dallas Mavericks fall to the Lakers

Luka got it going again in the third quarter. He showed off some beautiful passing including this find to Trey Burke for three.

Doncic had 12 points in the third to push his total for the game to 23 points. The Lakers continued their hot shooting to run their lead to 12 points entering the final quarter.

The 21-year-old showed off his bag of tricks in the fourth quarter to create an easy bucket.

Luka came back with 6:29 in the fourth, but Los Angeles had built the lead to 14. The Mavericks could just never make a comeback as the Lakers took the Christmas Day showdown 138-115. Doncic still dropped 27 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and one block. He was efficient and effective, but the Mavs need to get stops to beat any elite team.

Luka Doncic had 32 points in the opener, but Dallas fell to the Suns. Things do not get easier as the Dallas Mavericks take on the Clippers in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon. It starts at 2:30 p.m. CT, so fans need to be ready for the earlier tipoff. It promises to be an exciting game where Doncic will try to keep the Mavs from slipping to 0-3 on the young season. Do not miss a second of the action.
