What’s next for Tyrell Terry on the Dallas Mavericks?

Seth Curry has a smoother game, a better handle, and plays within himself. He is one of the best three-point shooters of all-time. Terry is not quite there yet, but he has the potential to contribute even more for the Mavs.

Terry’s feel for the game, elite shooting, and high basketball IQ would effectively push him into contention for the Mavericks’ sixth man spot, overtaking the likes of Trey Burke and Jalen Brunson.

The 6’3 guard is a walking bucket. He has a solid floor and a high ceiling. At worst, he is a smaller version of J.J. Redick, but at his absolute best, Terry could be a star on the levels of Trae Young. The comparisons won’t end until we see him pan out but the hype is warranted.

Splitting the difference, he could become the Mavericks’ version of C.J. McCollum. Not quite an All-Star but a core part of a contending team. Could Terry be the coveted third star the Mavericks have been searching for? Maybe, but he is the perfect fit for this offense.
