Dallas Mavericks pick Tyrell Terry at 31 overall in the 2020 NBA Draft: How will he fit?
The Mavs were rumored to be interested in Terry a month ago. He has transformed his body immensely during the hiatus. The 20-year-old added 20 pounds and grew two inches, which had some projecting him to go in the late first round.
Terry had an outstanding lone season at Stanford. He averaged 14.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.4 steals in 32.6 minutes per game. The 6’3 guard was one of the best 3-point shooters in the NCAA last season including shooting over 40 percent from 3-point range. He is a smart player that has tremendous potential.
