Dallas Mavericks GOAT Dirk Nowitzki needs zero introduction. He is top-ten in NBA history in points, games, minutes, field goal made, and free throws made. Nowitzki was unstoppable for nearly two decades as he led the Mavs to the playoffs 15 times in his 21 seasons.
Dirk was the most loyal superstar. In an era where players were teaming up to win championships, Nowitzki stayed in Dallas. He had plenty of chances to leave, but every time he decided against it. Dirk’s loyalty was rewarded with a championship in 2011. He also has a street named after him in front of the American Airlines Center, and the honors will continue to roll in. Nowitzki’s jersey retirement, statue, and place with the Mavericks are on the horizon.
