Veterans looking to chase a ring might select the Lakers, Clippers, and Bucks over Dallas. Some may want to play in the Eastern Conference to avoid those two LA teams which could make the Celtics, Raptors, and Heat more appealing.

The Mavericks are unlikely to sign a young player that is a couple of years away. They want to win it all in 2021.
