Dallas Mavericks: Player grades in first-round series vs. LA Clippers


Dallas Mavericks playoff player grade: Boban Marjanovic
Grade: B+
Bobi was fantastic in this series. He played in all six games. Marjanovic averaged 6.8 points and 5.8 rebounds in 13.7 minutes per. Dallas outscored the Clippers by 19 points during his time on the floor. He led the Mavericks in plus/minus and was one of two Dallas players that finished in the positive for the series.
Boban had ten points and seven rebounds in the game four win. He limited Montrezl Harrell in both Mavericks’ victories. Marjanovic produced 13 points and nine rebounds in under ten minutes in the game two triumph.
Overall, Boban Marjanovic had an outstanding series. He played limited minutes but made a massive impact on the court. That earned him a B-plus grade.
Dallas Mavericks playoff player grade: Seth Curry
Grade: A
Curry moved to the bench against the Clippers. Dallas had to matchup on Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Curry showed no ill effects. He averaged 12.8 points and 1.0 steal in 28.8 minutes per over the six games. The 29-year-old shot 58.5 percent from the field and 47.6 percent on his 3-point attempts.
Curry was outstanding in the series. He showed off his ability to get into the paint and finish too. Throw out the last two games without Kristaps Porzingis, and Curry averaged 16.5 points on 65.0 percent shooing when the series was tied at two. Seth Curry earned an A grade for his contributions against the LA Clippers.
