Bleacher Report makes bold prediction that Dallas Mavericks top Denver Nuggets during seeding games

Their bold prediction was that Dallas passes the Nuggets during the eight seeding games. Denver is currently four games ahead. The Nuggets are fourth in the Western Conference, and the Mavs sit seventh.

Passing the Nuggets means Dallas won at least six of their eight seeding games. It also would allow them to pass at least one other team. Getting into the four versus five match up would be ideal. That gives the Mavericks are winnable first-round series and allows them to avoid the Clippers until the conference finals.

Passing the Nuggets would take both Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis being locked in from the first seeding game. The Mavs need to beat the Rockets in their opening contest if they plan on passing Houston. Things get serious for Dallas right out of the gate.

Expect the Dallas Mavericks to be ready. They have a young team that enjoys spending time together. That should be a massive advantage in Orlando. Do not be surprised to see a deep playoff run from the Mavericks. The sky is the limit at Disney World.
