Dallas Mavericks scrimmage schedule for NBA Disney revealed

The Dallas Mavericks have begun mandatory workouts in preparation for the NBA’s restart. They head to Orlando in a few days. That is where training camp 2.0 will get underway. Each team plays eight seeding games before the playoffs begin.

The time to get ready has some concerned. Teams will not begin full team workouts until approximately July 10. The first seeding games take place on July 30. It will be a short window to fully prepare after a four-month break.

The NBA scheduled each team three scrimmages during training camp. That slate released on July 4. Let us take a look.

Dallas Mavericks to scrimmage Lakers, Pacers, and 76ers

The NBA dropped the scrimmage schedule on Saturday. Here are the particulars for the Mavericks three games. Remember, there is no home-court as every contest takes place at Disney World in Orlando.

Game 1: July 23 vs. Los Angeles Lakers at 6:00 p.m. CT

Game 2: July 26 vs. Indiana Pacers at 3:00 p.m. CT

Game 3: July 28 vs. Philadelphia 76ers at 7:30 p.m. CT

Those three games are all building up to the Mavericks’ first seeding contest against the Houston Rockets on July 31. Fans can see the NBA’s entire scrimmage schedule here.

All three games should be entertaining. It will be Luka Doncic vs. LeBron James to open the proceedings. The Mavericks versus Pacers is a matchup of contrasting styles. Indiana wants to play with a large frontline as Dallas goes small. The Mavs finish it up against the Sixers. Both Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid will be healthy and ready to go for Philly.
