Ranking Dallas Mavericks impact if they miss NBA Orlando: 2. Kristaps Porzingis

Porzingis proving he is healthy and capable of being the second star is a massive reason why the Mavs sit in playoff position right now. The Unicorn had just regained his All-Star form when play was suspended.

Fans could see the best version of KP in Orlando. The 24-year-old should be fully healthy after the layoff. The chemistry between the two stars should be at a new high following training camp 2.0. All signs point to the best version of Porzingis yet.

The Mavs need his rim-protecting, floor spacing, and scoring abilities. Kleber may be able to handle two of those three, but Dallas would be losing 15 points per game. They could not make it up either.

Ranking Dallas Mavericks impact if they miss NBA Orlando: 1. Luka Doncic

There were no questions here. Doncic is the straw that stirs the Mavs drink. The team would yearn for his scoring, playmaking, and ball-handling ability if he missed time in Orlando. There is no replacing a superstar in the NBA. Luka is one of the most unique contributors too.

Luckily for Mavericks fans, both Doncic and Porzingis look to be fit and ready for the NBA’s restart. The format will favor youth. Dallas has that. Expect the Mavs to make a run in Orlando. It is going to be fun, so do not miss it.
