Dallas Mavericks point guard Jalen Brunson joined Dallas mayor Eric Johnson to give everyone five tips to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Dallas Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson had an up and down second NBA season. He started 16 games mostly when Luka Doncic was out because of injury. In 15 of those starts, Brunson averaged 12.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds. The 23-year-old point guard suffered a shoulder injury just 12 seconds into his final one.

Brunson had surgery on that shoulder in mid-March. That effectively ended his season even if play resumes.

The NBA is currently suspended because of the novel coronavirus. There is no timetable for games starting back up. Public health and safety are obviously the priority. The league is hoping to crown a champion this year. It is too early to tell if that will be possible.

Brunson joined Dallas mayor Eric Johnson to produce a public service announcement for everyone on how to help limit the spread of the coronavirus. See the video below.

Hopefully, everyone remains healthy and safe during this difficult time. Do everything you can to help out. The Dallas Mavericks are committed to doing their part. Owner Mark Cuban has donated money to help. The players are providing food for first responders from local restaurants. Everyone needs to join together and do what they can.

For more information about COVID-19, visit the CDC’s website or the website for your state’s Department of Health.

Dallas Mavericks supporters should expect Jalen Brunson to be back fully healthy at the beginning of the 2020-2021 season. The guard will be looking to take another step forward in year three. Brunson is a winner. Do not bet against him.

The Smoking Cuban will continue to provide daily content, so supporters should make their way back to the website often to never miss an article.
