4. Curry leads the NBA in 3-point percentage
Seth Curry had a bit of a slow start to the season. He was adjusting to new teammates plus dealing with injuries. After the Dallas Mavericks’ first 15 games, Curry was shooting just 36.0 percent from downtown.

Fans knew that was not going to stick. The 29-year-old has worked it up to 43.5 percent for the season which ranks seventh in the NBA. He accomplished it with a blistering recent stretch. Over his last 20 games, Curry is hitting 49.5 percent of his 3-point attempts on 5.4 shots per game. That is absolutely insane.
He is showing no signs of slowing down. Seth Curry is one of the best 3-point shooters in NBA history. He is going to be the league’s top man down the stretch. The Mavericks offense is a massive part of it. He is getting 3.7 open or wide open 3-point attempts per game. Curry does not miss those shots.
The numbers will only increase as the Mavs unlock the offensive potential of Kristaps Porzingis. The 7’3 Unicorn playing the roll man with Luka will be game over for defenses. Expect Curry to be the beneficiary of plenty of open looks down the stretch. That allows him to shoot the best 3-point percentage in the NBA after the All-Star break.
