Highlights and more

Luka Doncic finished the game with 36 points, ten rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and four turnovers in 35 minutes of action. He shot 12 of 26 from the field and hit just nine of his 14 free throws.

It was not his best game. Doncic narrowly missed a triple-double again. It was the second time he fell one assist shy of the feat this season. He still leads the NBA with 12 triple-doubles.

Luka did put on a show, though. Here is a look at his best plays from Tuesday night.

It was awesome to have Kristaps Porzingis back on the floor. The Mavericks missed him during his lengthy absence. Sadly, they look like they will be down another big man after the Powell injury. Expect more minutes for Maxi Kleber, Justin Jackson, and Boban Marjanovic.

The Mavs return to action on Thursday in a road tilt against the Portland Trail Blazers. They are always exciting matchups because Doncic and Damian Lillard often go toe-to-toe. Expect both players to have massive stat lines on Jan. 23.
