Luka had six points and three assists in the second quarter. He also helped Dallas expanded their lead to three points by halftime. Doncic had 15 points and seven dimes at the break. He looked well on his way to a third consecutive 30-point triple-double.

Monster third

The 20-year-old star continued his third quarter dominance on Wednesday evening. He had a bit of a slow start, but once he got rolling it was an avalanche. Doncic finished with 12 points, four rebounds, and one assist in the 12 minutes.

Luka had an and-one off a fast break in the middle of the period which fans can enjoy below.

It was a rare occurrence where Luka took a mid-range jumper. He virtually eliminated them from his game this season. It has been attempts at the rim or beyond the 3-point line for Doncic. It was neat to see him change it up for a bucket.

The Mavericks held a three-point lead heading into the final quarter thanks in larger part to the outstanding play from Luka Doncic. They had 89 points and looked well on their way to victory.
