9. Jimmy Butler

If ever there was a player that is near impossible to get a read on, Jimmy Butler just may be that guy. Butler was a real star in Chicago and was beloved by Bulls fans. Then, he decided he wasn’t happy and all of a sudden he was gone. It was a weird thing and has left a lot of people confused as to what exactly Butler is doing.

He then followed that up by requesting a trade out of Minnesota, the team he chose to sign with the year before. There are a lot of things about Butler to be worried about and that is the main reason we see him here at 9th on the list instead of much lower.

Read. Mavs believed Jalen Brunson was a first rounder

As far as play goes, Butler is an extremely skilled player on both ends of the court. He has been a premier offensive player for several years now, finding ways to score in all areas of the court. His three-point shooting has never been stellar but it has also never really slowed his game down any either.

On defense, Butler is one of the best defensive wings in the league. He has quick feet and good reflexes to stay in front of the guy he is guarding. Everything about Butler on the court is something a team would want, but his off the court stuff is definitely worrisome.

I would say the Mavs have almost no chance at Butler and that’s alright. The Sixers probably want to bring him back if he wants to come back and that would be good for both parties. If something were to happen and the Mavs end up with Butler, however, I would certainly not be upset about it.
