April

Total games: 6

Home games: 4

Away games: 2

Games against Eastern Conference opponents: 1

Games against Western Conference opponents: 5

Game to watch: This is probably a weird one, but I think the game between the Mavs and the Phoenix Suns on April 9th will be a good one. The first one of the season was rough for Dallas, but I also think it was a little bit flukey. I think the Suns have a great team and it seems like a foregone conclusion that Devin Booker is always going to kill us, but this should be a better game.

Dallas will need to not look so sluggish for starters. Luka will have a lot more game time under his belt and Dennis won’t allow another performance quite like that first one. There aren’t a lot of options in April, but this one should be good. I give the Mavs the narrow win.

Easiest game: Who honestly knows what the Memphis Grizzlies are capable of this year. With a healthy roster, this team could actually turn some heads and make a little noise towards the playoffs. Marc Gasol is an excellent center, Mike Conley is a great point guard and Chandler Parsons is a serviceable wing. So who is to say what they could do?

The Mavs and Grizz will play on April 5th, and by then we will have a really good idea of how this team will turn out. I personally think that Conley is the only guy left that is ready to compete at the highest level. Memphis will be low on the standings and Dallas will snag their last easy win of the year.

Hardest game: The Philadelphia 76ers are considered one of the strongest teams in the Eastern Conference with a group of young players that have come together incredibly well. The rebuild that the Sixers executed was improbable and impressive and the fans are being rewarded for the many years of disappointment.

The Mavs play the 76ers on April 1st when they will hope to fool a lot of NBA fans who will undoubtedly be expecting a win for Philly. I think Dallas will play them tough and that people will be surprised by the matchups. Either way, I think Dallas can take this one at the end of the season.

Next. Dallas Mavericks: The season is finally here

The Mavericks have 81 games left this season and a lot of time to prove that they are on their way back up the NBA standings. These are just a few of the games that you should keep an eye out for.
