2018 NBA Mock Draft 1.0: The Draft Lottery is Set

MANNY: Solidifying its interior, with the first pick, allows Phoenix some flexibility when selecting at No. 16. With budding point guard Devin Booker manufacturing his own offense and creating for others, adding a knock down shooter seems ideal. Gary Trent Jr. will serve as an excellent addition.
The sharpshooting guard set a Duke freshman record for made three-pointers with 97. Equally as impressive, he did this while shooting at a 40 percent clip. This bodes well for the Suns, who ranked dead last this past season, shooting an abysmal 33.4 percent per contest. The Suns and Trent Jr. have all the makings of a perfect pairing.
KOHL: A good sleeper pick at 17, Lonnie Walker turned in a decent season with the Miami Hurricanes. Although the first little bit of the season was pretty rough, Walker fixed some concerns and became a focal point for a Hurricanes squad that overachieved.
Walker is a guard with great size and plus athleticism who should be able to handle himself well on the defensive side of the ball. His shot has looked pretty good for the most part, but his three-point game could still use some percentage points. I think that he would fit well with Milwaukee thanks to his size and length which is exactly what this Bucks team is built around.
SEAN: Once again, the San Antonio Spurs land an absolute steal. I am a big fan of Zhaire Smith’s and would not be completely surprised to see him climb his way into the top 10. Smith is similar to Chicago’s Zach LaVine, he is that kind of unique-level athlete.
Smith is a great defender and tenacious rebounder for a player his size. His competitive fire is on display every time you watch him play. Smith will need to prove he can develop as a shooter to reach his full potential. While he shot well from deep during his time at Texas Tech, he only took around one attempt for game.
