Harrison Barnes

“Harrison Barnes has scored over 30 twice this year and is the leading scorer on the team averaging just over 19 a game. He gets a consistent dose of heavy minutes and will have the chance to hit 40 this season. I’m going to go a step farther and predict that he will hit 40 at some point this season.” –Isaac Harris

“Usage rate. Minutes. Expectations. Harrison Barnes has nothing but space and opportunity to go off for 40 on any given night. After all, he was brought to Dallas to be a primary scorer. Don’t be surprised when his jersey number becomes his new career-high.” –Emmanuel Dixon

“Harrison Barnes is the epitome of consistency, seemingly always gathering about 20 points per contest. However, some nights when his shot is falling, he’s just unstoppable. His career high is 34 points, but that feels very breakable.” –Sam Casey

“I’d say Harrison Barnes is most likely to score 40 with DSJ as a close second. As our leading scorer, HB has been aggressive attacking the basket this season and could easily catch fire one night with his good shot selection and shooting percentage.” –Michael Mulford

“I’m going with the leading scorer on the team, Harrison Barnes. He’s averaging 18 a game, and has already dropped 31 in a game against Washington, so there’s no doubt in my mind that he can reach that mark, with ease by the way.  When Barnes gets going, and the Mavs feed him the ball in the right spots, he’s kind of hard to stop. I’m betting he’ll hit that mark against someone like Phoenix or Chicago by season’s end.” –Jasmyn Wimbish
