Wesley Matthews

“As our primary wing defender, Wes is usually expected to guard the opposing teams’ best scorer. That sometimes results in a lot of “superstar calls” which is frustrating for Wes. These days, it doesn’t take much animation or questioning bad calls to get you a tech or two.” –Emmanuel Dixon

Dennis Smith Jr.

“Ok, I feel like Salah Mejri will be the popular choice here and if I’m putting money on it he would be mine too, but I’m going to say Dennis Smith Jr. The rook has shown his feelings on his sleeve at times and hasn’t backed down from opponents this season (see Draymond Green). I could see a scenario where his emotions get the best in a situation and it boils over.” –Isaac Harris

Dirk Nowitzki

“Dirk has played with a passion that most players have never begun to understand since the beginning of his career and it shows on the court almost every single night. On multiple occasions, Dirk has received technical fouls after getting in the refs face and I don’t think that is going to change this year. Although Dirk is usually good at limiting his T’s to only one in a game, this season has not been pretty and Nowitzki could easily be more fired up than usual. One short-tempered ref and it could happen in an instant.” –Kohl Rast

It is impossible to predict the emotional level of a game and which player may be taking the worst hit from the reffing, but in a normal game, any of these guys could easily get thrown out for talking a little too much. Question is, which one is it going to be?
