Picks #6–#10

Now we get to talk about all the picks leading up to and through the Dallas Mavericks. Who are we going to get?

#6- JONATHAN ISAAC (Mihajlo Knezevic, Evan Siegel), DENNIS SMITH JR. (Sam Casey, Isaac Harris, Kohl Rast), MALIK MONK (Emmanuel Dixon, Aaron Reed) to ORL

Once the top 5 players have been taken, things start to shake up a little bit more. Players like Isaac, Smith, and Monk are all in the next tier of solid players in this draft and Orlando could find a spot for each of them. This pick could play a big role in who is still there at 9 as well, as two of those three players have been picked in mock drafts by the Mavs.

#7- LAURI MARKKANEN (Mihajlo Knezevic), MALIK MONK (Evan Siegel), JONATHAN ISAAC (Sam Casey, Isaac Harris, Aaron Reed, Emmanuel Dixon, Kohl Rast) to MIN

Our first sighting of the big Finnish baller from Arizona comes as early as number 7 in these mock drafts. Markkanen has been linked with the Mavs for good and for bad and his draft position will be something to monitor. The overwhelming favorite here is Jonathan Isaac who would be amazing if he got past the 7th overall pick. Malik Monk also finds his way on a Minnesota mock.

#8- FRANK NTILIKINA (Mihajlo Knezevic, Evan Siegel, Sam Casey, Isaac Harris, Aaron Reed, Kohl Rast), DENNIS SMITH JR. (Emmanuel Dixon) to NYK

The New York Knicks have been high on the French phenom, Frank Ntilikina for the last few weeks and many have speculated that they will jump on him at the 8th pick. Ntilikina has been linked with the Mavericks over and over and is very high on their draft board. However, it looks a lot like he is not going to be there at 9 which makes the Mavs pick all the more interesting.

#9- DENNIS SMITH JR. (Mihajlo Knezevic, Evan Siegel, Aaron Reed), FRANK NTILIKINA (Emmanuel Dixon), MALIK MONK (Kohl Rast, Sam Casey, Isaac Harris) to DAL

Ahh yes, the pick we have all been waiting for. At this point, you can see how hard it really is to predict who will still be there when the Mavericks make their pick. Dennis Smith Jr., Malik Monk, and Frank Ntilikina are the favorites for the Mavs to pick and one of them should be there still by the time the clock starts for Dallas. All of these players will be good for the team and, until Adam Silver makes the announcement, anything can happen.

#10- LAURI MARKKANEN (Evan Siegel, Sam Casey, Aaron Reed, Isaac Harris, Emmanuel Dixon), ZACH COLLINS (Mihajlo Knezevic, Kohl Rast) to SAC

Now that the top 9 are gone, the most likely player to still be there is Lauri Markkanen. Zach Collins is another possible player to be taken at number 10 and he has a good case as a big man that can shoot, play defense, and rebound fairly well. Number 10 is a tough place to pick but there will still be a great player there for the Kings second pick.
