The Cavs are going to play their best basketball of the season at the right time. James Harden, feeling slighted by another MVP snub, will definitely have something to prove. In the end, the team with the best James on the court will prevail and hoist the Larry O’Brien trophy for the second year in a row.

Obviously once again this is going to be an unpopular pick for two reasons: 1. It’s neither the Cleveland Cavaliers or Golden State Warriors, and 2. It is a Dallas Mavericks site picking the Spurs to win it all, but I really think that San Antonio is going to cause some major problems for all the teams they face in the playoffs. The Grizzlies should be a walkthrough before the Rockets, Warriors, and Cavaliers will all be difficult tests. However, with Gregg Popovich and Kawhi Leonard, anything seems possible.
