With the Dallas Mavericks looking like they will be selecting in the middle of the first round this summer, here is the third installment of our Dallas Mavericks 2017 NBA Draft Big Board.

The Dallas Mavericks currently sit with a 28-38 record as they continue to fight for the last spot in the playoffs out west. With the injury bug present from the beginning of the season, the Mavericks were never able to truly put together a healthy team in the first half of the season.

Throughout the first month of the season, Dallas seemed destined for a top 3 pick in the draft with the chance of landing the first overall pick. Now, after getting some veterans back from injury, the Mavericks have been vocal in pushing for the playoffs.

But nobody knows how this “playoff push” will turn out.

Since version 2.0, we have seen Andrew Bogut, Deron Williams, and Justin Anderson all leave Dallas while getting a potential franchise center in Nerlens Noel. The Mavs have also watched the rise of Seth Curry and Yogi Ferrell into a quality rotation role.

Will the Mavericks be successful in their playoff push and get to the eighth seed? Will they make the push and barely miss? Will injuries strike again and they decide to tank the last month of the season?

The Mavericks could literally land anywhere (well, not anywhere) in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft.
