NBA Trade Deadline: Four Contracts the Dallas Mavericks Could Absorb

2.) Allen Crabbe
After starting in just eight games over his first three years in the league, the Portland Trail Blazers decided to match the offer sheet from Brooklyn that would sign Crabbe to a four-year, $75 million deal.
Now, Portland is sitting outside of the playoffs where Crabbe comes off the bench and averages just over 10 points a game. With both Lillard and McCollum making over $23 million a year over the next multiple years, Portland could look to clear some cap going forward as they make roster adjustments around their star back court.
Crabbe is just 24 years old and shoots over 43% from behind the arc, but is slated to make over $18.5 million over the next four years. Would Dallas take on that contract if a first round pick was involved?
After Portland make the Nurkic trade with Denver, they obtained another first round draft pick in the 2017 draft. This gives them three picks this summer.
Dallas could ask for one of those lower first round picks with Crabbe and send back a package around Bogut and another player.
