With our latest Dallas Mavericks Podcast Live on iTunes, we recap the uneventful trade deadline for the Dallas Mavericks and the recent addition of David Lee to the team.
After taking a week off due to the all-star break, we here at The Smoking Cuban got back to our weekly Mavericks podcast as we dive into the second half of the season.
With us recording literally in the middle of the Philadelphia game, there was only one game to recap after the all-star break and that was the dreadful game in Orlando. We break down what happened in that game and also discussed the possibility of Chandler Parsons returning home to Orlando as a free agent this summer.
After that, we dove into the non-exciting trade deadline for the Dallas Mavericks. We talk about each of the rumors circulating around the Mavs on that day and our thoughts on the Mavs deciding to stand pat.
As a result of discussing the deadline, we also debated Donnie Nelson addressing the media before the deadline and some things that came out about the Mavs. Should the Mavs have passed on a first round pick for either Justin Anderson or Dwight Powell?
Of course, we couldn’t leave out the breaking news over the weekend of veteran forward David Lee joining the team and the impact he will have on the Mavs coming off the bench.
