Entering the Dallas Mavericks' Wednesday night game over the Cleveland Cavaliers, everyone was talking about Luka Doncic.

He had just scored his 10,000th point on Monday night and scored 50 points while dishing out 15 assists. He was the star of the show on Christmas Day, but one other Maverick stole the show two days later.

He is someone who has been in and out of the rotation this season, but Wednesday night he showed why he was labeled one of the most underrated signings of the offseason and is known as one of the best shooters in the league.

Mavs guard Seth Curry was crucial for Dallas despite losing the game 113-110, and he was absolutely dialed in from downtown. Curry finished with 19 points on 5-9 shooting from downtown and seemingly couldn't miss.

Curry was letting it fly from 3-point range all night long and was shooting with confidence. His confidence is something that has been lacking at times this season, and Wednesday night he showed how lethal he can be for Dallas.

"He knows he's going to come in and shoot and hit shots and we all trust him to do that," Mavs guard Dante Exum said. "He's one guy that's always ready to go, ready to shoot when his name is called."

Curry stepping up against Cleveland showed how great of a shooter he can be off the bench and how Dallas needs to continue to use him. With him being such an excellent shooter, the Mavs should continue to use him as a spark plug off the bench.

Jaden Hardy has struggled as of late, and in Wednesday night's game, he didn't touch the floor. The Mavs gave this game away down the stretch, but this performance from Curry was promising.

Could this Curry performance be a foreshadowing that he'll be a regular member of the rotation now?

We won't know until Kyrie Irving is healthy, but we'll have you covered with all the latest on Seth Curry and the Dallas Mavericks this season, so stay tuned.
