Why Dallas Mavericks should not overlook Cavaliers: 1. Evan Mobley

The rookie changes the game for Cleveland. They are 10-6 when Mobley plays, but he was forced to miss four games with an elbow injury from Nov. 17 to 24. He returned in the Cavaliers win over the Orlando Magic on Nov. 27, and the 20-year-old will be looking to put on a show in Dallas.

Mobley’s versatility raises the Cavaliers ceiling. He is a strong rebounder and rim protector that can switch onto guards and wings. The seven-footer displays plenty of skills on the offensive end of the floor too, including a developing 3-point shot that will take his game to another level.

Evan Mobley has helped Cleveland make a massive turnaround. They have split their first 20 games and currently sit tenth in the Eastern Conference, meaning the Cavaliers would be in the play-in tournament if the season ended today.

The Dallas Mavericks need to show up on Nov. 29 and take care of business against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Mobley is helping them build something special, but the Mavs are the superior team. Still, they will have to break their A-game if Dallas wants to win on Monday night. It will be a cannot miss game, so be sure to tune in and the enjoy show.
