The Dallas Mavericks were looking for their straight win on Nov. 8 as they hosted the New Orleans Pelicans. They were fresh off topping the Celtics behind a game-winning buzzer-beater from superstar Luka Doncic, and fans were hoping they could build on that momentum.

The Pelicans were without Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram on Monday night as they looked to snap a six-game losing streak in Dallas. New Orleans had won just one of their first ten games, and the Mavs needed to take care of business on their home floor.

Dallas got off to a slow start before rebounding over the final three quarters to cruise to a 108-92 victory against the shorthanded Pelicans on Nov. 8. Who stood out in the Mavericks' seventh win of the 2021-2022 season?

Luka Doncic struggled in the first quarter as he had just four points and four turnovers, but the 22-year-old rebounded to produce his fifth straight 20-plus point performance. It was not Doncic’s best game, but he still managed to finish with 25 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block in 33 minutes of action.

Reggie Bullock had arguably his best game with the Mavericks by producing 12 points, four rebounds, one assist, and one block in 21 minutes of action. He was five of seven from the field, and the Mavericks were plus-13 during his time on the floor.

The Dallas Mavericks dominated the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night, and here are two studs and one dud from that contest.
