Dallas Mavericks player that can be traded away on Dec. 15: 1. Reggie Bullock
The Mavs premier offseason acquisition has struggled to start his time in Dallas too. Bullock is averaging just 5.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 23.1 minutes per game while shooting 34.4 percent from the field and 27.5 percent on his 3-point attempts. Head coach Jason Kidd has tried things to get him going, including putting him into the starting five for the last three games, but RB continues to struggle.
Mavericks fans are already having Josh Richardson flashbacks, and it could be the second straight offseason where the team’s top acquisition has not worked out. Bullock signed a three-year $30 million contract after starting on a playoff team in New York. He was tasked as the primary defender on Trae Young in the postseason and should draw plenty of interest on the market from teams looking to buy low.
Supporters should expect Reggie Bullock to turn it around. He has shot 29.2 percent from 3-point range for his career in October and November before shooting north of 37 percent in every other month. Slow starts are common, and fans need to give him time to break out of his slump.
