The Dallas Mavericks are treading water to begin the 2021-2022 season. New head coach Jason Kidd improved the team’s chemistry, but things have not gone as planned.

Luka played in just 21 of the team’s first 35 games, and missed contests were a massive story during the 2021 portion of the schedule. They still plan on moving into the top six in the Western Conference and winning a postseason series.
