Mavericks trade rumors: Can Dallas win a bidding war for Zach LaVine?

What assets can the Dallas Mavericks offer in a trade for Zach LaVine?
The Mavs have made every player not named Luka Doncic on their roster available ahead of the trade deadline. Dorian Finney-Smith has garnered some buzz, but Dallas is only interested in parting ways with their top 3-and-D wing if it nets them a star in return. The Mavericks also have two first-round draft picks and two second-rounders that they can make available in any trade.
Is that enough to land LaVine? It should be, but only if the bidding war does not get out of hand. Other teams have more first-round picks they can put in the trade and young talent on rookie contracts to attract the Bulls.
Fischer mentioned the Lakers, Knicks, and Heat as teams that are also interested in LaVaine. The Knicks can offer a ton of draft capital if they believe the 27-year-old is the star player they need next to Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle. New York has traded for four additional first-round picks, including the Mavericks selection in 2023, and they have all of their own firsts.
The Mavs could throw in quality role players like Finney-Smith, and they have Josh Green and Jaden Hardy as young players on rookie contracts that could sweeten a trade. Dallas could make a strong offer, but would it be enough?
