What other Utah Jazz players could the Dallas Mavericks trade for?
The Jazz are open for business, and they are willing to trade nearly anyone on their roster. The first draft pick they received in the Donovan Mitchell trade was in 2025, so they are clearly planning on a multi-year rebuild. That means no player on their current roster is safe.
Jordan Clarkson and Malik Beasley are the two next most obvious names that are readily available. Can the Jazz get a first-round pick for either? Will they hold off to see if their value improves at the trade deadline? Utah should be in no rush given the nature of its rebuild.
Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Jazz plan to keep Collin Sexton, Lauri Markkanen, and Ochai Agbaji, but do not be surprised to see any or all of those three names shopped at some point. Markkanen could be an interesting target for a contending team that needs a power forward.
The Dallas Mavericks could be in on any player, but what are they willing to part with? Are they trying to keep their first-round picks or does Dallas put one or more on the table to try to upgrade their roster right now? Without offering a first-round pick, the Mavs will struggle to make a deal with the Jazz.
