Dallas Mavericks dud in win over Kings: 1. Reggie Bullock

The Mavs biggest offseason signing has not settled in with his new team. He was shooting just 36.7 percent from the field coming in and had barely played over 20 minutes per game. Bullock started each of the last two games with Kristaps Porzingis out, but he was replaced by Maxi Kleber on Sunday afternoon.

The 6’6 wing struggled off the bench against the Kings. He finished with seven points, three assists, and three rebounds in 22 minutes of action, but Bullock shot just three of nine from the field. His jumper is off to start the 2021-2022 season, and he is still trying to find it. The 6’6 wing was one of five from 3-point range on Sunday.

The Mavericks were outscored by six points when Bullock was on the floor, and he has only been a positive in the plus-minus once this season.

The Dallas Mavericks need to get Reggie Bullock going, but it is still early in the season. They have won four of their first six games, so fans should not panic. Bullock will find his shooting stroke and become a weapon for the Mavs this season. Keep an eye on his production moving forward.
