The Dallas Mavericks are having an excellent start to the season as they are sitting at 11-6 and third place in the Western Conference. Dallas is coming off a 121-115 over the Houston Rockets the other night, but the main talk from that game hasn't even been about how well Dallas played in the clutch.

It's been about what happened after the game in the postgame press conference.

Mavs head coach Jason Kidd was asked about Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving's improvement in the clutch this season, and Kidd didn't hold back as he gave the media a firey response.

After talking about how the improvement between the duo took some time, Kidd then said "you're not making a big deal about it [Doncic and Irving in the clutch] this year because (expletive) is going good."

Kidd made a good point, as the media was extremely critical of Dallas towards the end of the season last year, and later urged the media to "write some positive (expletive)."

This presser went viral, and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James came to the defense of Kidd the next day.

LeBron was someone who competed against Kidd for years, and he said that he had never heard him curse before. He also clearly believes that Kidd is in the right for everything he said, and came to the support of one of his former coaches during a moment when he has been getting some backlash.

James seems to have a deep level of respect for Kidd, and this is a great response that shows how much he cares for his good friend.

Jason Kidd and the Dallas Mavericks' next chance to play against the Los Angeles Lakers is on January 17.

For all the latest on the Mavs this season, stay tuned.
