Dallas Mavericks goal for 2022-23 season: 2. Luka wins MVP

Two things are missing from Luka Doncic’s resume. Winning MVP and an NBA championship would make the 23-year-old an all-time great. He already has three first-team All-NBA honors along with being a three-time All-Star and Rookie of the Year, and that makes zero mention of his overseas accolades.

Luka is only focused on winning. His goal is to win the NBA championship every year, but an MVP strengthens his case for being the best player in the world and cements his legacy. There are zero questions about his talent or ability to win games, but being the league’s Most Valuable Player is reserved for the best to ever do it. No matter what he says, Doncic wants to win MVP, and he can do it this season.

Number 77 enters the year as the betting favorite. His mix of otherworldly statistics, ability to create highlights, and the way he takes over games gives Luka all the key ingredients to winning MVP. He just needs to put it all together. Doncic is in shape and ready to dominate from the start of this season, and that is scary to the rest of the league.

The Dallas Mavericks should make it a goal to help Luka Doncic win MVP. That means they are in the top four in the Western Conference, and their superstar just had a monster year as the team tries to accomplish their ultimate goal.
