The Dallas Mavericks struggled mightily on the second night of a back-to-back in the Las Vegas Summer League as the Phoenix Suns dominated Tuesday’s action. The 105-78 loss sent Dallas to 0-3 in Vegas, and their shooting struggles carried over from their loss against the Jazz.

It was a night to forget for the Mavericks' summer league squad as they shot just 33.8 percent from the field, including making just ten of their 31 3-point tries. Dallas had 15 turnovers, and they never recovered from being outscored 26-13 in the opening quarter.

Jaden Hardy struggled from the field for the second straight game. Here is a closer look at the 20-year-old’s performance, who played well for the Mavericks, and what is next.

Hardy had 28 points in his Las Vegas Summer League opener, but he has struggled since. The 6’4 guard finished with just 11 points on four of 15 shooting from the field in 26 minutes of action against the Suns. He did have six rebounds, two steals, and one block in the loss.

The Mavericks had 31 points in the final period, and they still lost by 27. Jerrick Harding scored a team-high 20 points on seven of 13 shooting from the field. He also had five rebounds and five assists in 23 minutes of action. A.J. Lawson had ten points and four rebounds in 22 minutes on the floor.

Dallas had just three players in double-figures on Tuesday night. They could not find their offense as they remain winless during their time in Vegas.

The Dallas Mavericks take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday evening in the last of their scheduled Las Vegas Summer League games. They will face a team with a similar record in a fifth and final game following their fourth contest. The Bucks are 1-1 in Vegas but will be on the second night of a back-to-back when they face Dallas. Can the Mavericks get their first win in Vegas? Be sure to tune in and find out.
