Powell was not in the rotation to begin the season, but he played well enough in his first opportunity to earn more minutes. The Mavericks attempted to replace Dwight Powell, but he fought his way back into the rotation, and he is providing solid minutes. The 31-year-old is shooting 71.1 percent from the field and averaging 6.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per game. Those are solid numbers, and DP’s grade increases for earning back his starting gig.
