1. How can Dallas Mavericks replace Jalen Brunson’s production?

It quickly became the Mavericks' biggest question of the offseason. Brunson transformed into the team’s second-leading scorer and most consistent non-Luka player. He averaged over 21 points per game in the playoffs and lead Dallas to back-to-back victories in the first round without Doncic in the lineup.

No one player is going to replace Brunson’s production. The Mavs will likely move Spencer Dinwiddie into the starting five to fill his role with Tim Hardaway Jr. returning from injury to be the team’s sixth man. THJ does not offer the same ball-handling and playmaking chops, though.

The Mavericks had their most success with two ball-handlers on the floor at the same time last season. Can Dallas acquire someone to replace JB in that capacity? Goran Dragic would be an option. There will be other ball-handlers available, but nobody that can be their second-leading scorer. It will be production by committee for the Mavs behind Luka without JB.
