Dallas Mavericks that will have career years in 2022-23 season: 1. Dorian Finney-Smith
Finney-Smith just keeps getting better. Over the last six years, he has gone from undrafted free agent to role player to starter to arguably the second-best player on one of the best teams in the Western Conference. His rise has been impressive and yet he still flies completely under the radar.
Doe-Doe has improved his 3-point percentage in six straight years, and doing so again likely means shooting over 40 percent. He averaged a career-high in points, minutes, steals, assists, and 3-pointers made per game last season, and there are zero reasons why the 29-year-old cannot build on that this year.
He will average the second-most minutes behind only superstar Luka Doncic, and head coach Jason Kidd keeps challenging Finney-Smith to improve. He wants Doe-Doe handling the ball a bit more this season, and that should result in a career-high in assists per game.
Dorian Finney-Smith is the best 3-and-D wing that nobody outside of Dallas talks about, and he will have a career year in the 2022-23 season that will put him on the map. Expect him to set new career-highs across the board as Doe-Doe makes second-team All-Defense and helps the Mavericks make another deep playoff run.
Fans should be excited about the 2022-23 Dallas Mavericks, and they won’t want to miss a second of the action, so please tune in and enjoy the year.
