The Dallas Mavericks and LA Clippers are meeting in the first round of the playoffs for the second straight year. LA took the series inside the bubble in six games, but Luka Doncic and the Mavs are hungry for revenge.
While the two most important faces remain the same, the Clippers have made several moves in an attempt to be crowned NBA champions. Gone are Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams. LA added Serge Ibaka, Rajon Rondo, Nicolas Batum, and DeMarcus Cousins this season to improve their depth.
The Mavs are locked in and ready. If any MFFL was looking for a quick overview of the opponent, allow me to introduce the LA Clippers.

Kawhi Leonard proves every season that he is one of the best players in the NBA, and arguably the top two-way player in the league. He is a five-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year recipient.
Kawhi has improved his playmaking ability and is averaging a career-high in assists per game this season. Leonard is looking to become the fifth player to win an NBA title with three different teams, and second to win Finals MVP with three different organizations.
Thing to know about Paul George before Dallas Mavericks vs. LA Clippers series
2021 per game stats: 23.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists
The on-court and off-court struggles for Paul George in last year’s playoffs are well documented. The seven-time All-Star averaged his lowest point total in the playoffs since the 2012-2013 season.
