Dallas Mavericks roster breakdown: Boban Marjanovic
What is there not to like about Boban? Sure, he will never be able to play more than a handful of minutes, but is there a player more entertaining? Beyond that, he’s an analytical monster, still averaging 21.7 points and 16.7 rebounds per 36 minutes. He has the best defensive and net rating on the team, is adored by the fan base, and in the four games he’s played more than 10 minutes, the Mavs have won three. It’s tempting to label him as “untouchable” just by his lovable factor alone, but fans will have to settle for this.
Dallas Mavericks roster breakdown: Wesley Iwundu
Iwundu might be the worst of any of the qualified players on this list. Sorry, just being truthful. Whatever stat you choose, it’s ugly. Despite averaging 13.7 minutes per game, Iwundu produces just two points and two rebounds a night. He is not scoring efficiently either. Iwundu’s 28.3 percent from the field is the worst on the team, so is his 13 percent 3-point shooting and negative 8.5 net rating.
On the bright side, at least he doesn’t turn the ball over much. Only 0.2 turnovers a night!
