Can Kristaps Porzingis and Willie Cauley-Stein both fit in the Dallas Mavericks starting unit?

Kristaps Pozingis provide much-needed floor spacing in his return and did not miss a beat playing alongside Willie Cauley-Stein. He praised Trill in his post-game presser following their win over the Hornets.

"“Willie’s been playing great. He’s a very active big, and he’s great for us on the defensive end, rebounding. He’s a lob threat and can do things offensively. Me and him playing together that’s a tough task for the other teams.”"

Kristaps Porzingis is the second pillar to the Mavs’ offense and anchors their defense. He’s severely underrated as one of the best bigs in the league. His offensive game is impossible to guard because he can score from everywhere.

Porzingis and Cauley-Stein have been starting in the frontcourt. Their games mesh well together because KP can space the floor and allow Cauley-Stein room to gobble up boards. The duo should only improve as the Unicorn gets his conditioning back.

Trill only attempted two shots at the rim but had 14 rebounds and three blocks against the Hornets. The fit for two seven-footers on the court might have been questionable at first, but the duo is finding success, especially on the defensive end of the floor.

Last season, Trill and the Unicorn shared the floor for 16 total minutes following the January trade. Seeing the two of them in action and complementing each others’ game was a sight for sore eyes. Mavericks’ fans should have plenty of excitement about this frontcourt tandem.
