Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic secures triple-double in second half versus Rockets

The Rockets made a comeback, but the Mavs were up by seven after three. Doncic had seven points in the quarter to give him 27 for the game. He also produced 13 rebounds and six assists during the first 36 minutes of play.

Doncic had five assists in the fourth to secure his first triple-double of the 2020-2021 season. The 21-year-old superstar finished with 33 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists in 38 minutes of action in the victory over the rival Houston Rockets. It was Luka’s best game of the season, despite his season-high eight turnovers. The Mavs outscored the Rockets by 29 when Doncic was on the floor.
