2020 NBA Draft mock 5.0: First 31 picks in early October

2020 NBA Draft mock #24: Milwaukee Bucks (via Pacers)- Aleksej Pokusevski
The Bucks are making a habit of taking raw talents with massive upsides and attempting to develop them. They hit a home run with Giannis Antetokounmpo but struck out on Thon Maker and D.J. Wilson. They go back to the well here to take Aleksej Pokusevski.
The seven-footer is rising up draft boards because of his immense potential. The film is a bit difficult to judge because nearly all of his minutes came with Olympiacos’ second team in the Greek second league. He has shown flashes of ball-handling, shooting, and playmaking ability, but it is multiple years away from translating to the NBA.
Pokusevski is still 18 years old until the day after Christmas. He’s the youngest player in this class and packed with potential. The Bucks would be drafting him with no guarantee that it pans out. Pokusevski is likely to play overseas for at least one more season before coming to the NBA. Milwaukee would have to believe in his talent and their ability to help him reach his ceiling.
Do not be surprised to see Pokusevski taken earlier on draft night. Seven-footers that can create their own shot, handle the ball, and be a stretch five are difficult to find. That is his ceiling, but there is no guarantee that he reaches it.
