How does Omer Yurtseven fit with the Dallas Mavericks?

Using our second-round pick on Omer Yurtseven would be a smart move. Dwight Powell is coming back from an Achilles tear to fill the starting center role next to Kristaps Porzingis. Willie Cauley-Stein has a player option for next season. If he departs, that could leave a hole in the second unit for Yurtseven.

Kleber and Yurtseven would compliment each other nicely in the frontcourt if Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle decided to use that setup. Yurtseven could provide the offense while Kleber brings the defense.

I like Omer Yurtseven a lot, but he does have weaknesses. He is one of my sleeper picks in the 2020 NBA Draft. The seven-footer reminds me of Enes Kanter, so maybe teams that are looking for a big man like Kanter see a potential fit. If things do not work out, Yurtseven might return to the EuroLeague. The 22-year-old will be playing professionally next season.
