Dallas Mavericks trade for Josh Richardson in a hypothetical deal: Should they?
The Dallas Mavericks are searching for pieces that improve their roster next season. No longer will a first-round playoff exit feel like a positive. The Mavs want to become yearly title contenders with Luka Doncic leading the way.
That will be no easy task. The Mavericks need some internal growth from their current roster plus a few more pieces to round it out. Dallas figures to be light on cap space this offseason. Their best bet could be completing a trade that pushes them into title contention.
Bleacher Report outlined the top trades that every team can make this offseason. They had the Mavs acquiring Josh Richardson from the Philadelphia 76ers. Let us take a closer look at the swap.
Dallas Mavericks trade for Josh Richardson in a hypothetical deal: Should they actually do it?

The Mavs would hate to lose Curry. He is an underrated player and one of the best 3-point shooters in the NBA. To get a strong asset, you need to give up something, though.
Should the Dallas Mavericks complete this trade this offseason? Will they? Let us attempt to answer those two questions by first looking at Josh Richardson’s fit with the Mavs before setting the odds.
