Dallas Mavericks: 5 free agents to replace Tim Hardaway Jr. if he leaves

Free agent that could replace Tim Hardaway Jr. for Dallas Mavericks: 2. Goran Dragic
Dragic played most of the regular season as the sixth man for the Heat but is back starting in the playoffs. The 34-year-old guard has been outstanding. He averaged 16.2 points, 5.1 assists, and 3.2 rebounds in 28.2 minutes per game during the regular season. Dragic scored 21.1 a night through the first two rounds of the playoffs.
Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic and Dragic both play for the Slovenian National Team. The two are friends. They stunned the field in winning EuroBasket 2017. Could the two team up in Dallas?
Dragic would give the Mavs the secondary creator they lack. He is an outstanding pick and roll ball handler that would take some of the pressure off Luka. Dragic also spaces the floor and can score. He would give the Mavericks number one offense a few new wrinkles. For more on why Dallas should sign Goran Dragic click here.
The 34-year-old would likely be willing to accept a one-year deal at a significant salary to team up with Doncic. It would give the Dallas Mavericks a chance to both compete in 2021 and chase the big names free agents after the season.
