Bleacher Report has the Mavs acquiring Patrick Beverley from the LA Clippers. In return, they send Maxi Kleber, Delon Wright, and the 31st overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. That is a hefty price to pay for Dallas.
The Clippers are unlikely to part with Pat Bev. He has two years and over $27.6 million left on his contract. LA wants to stay in title contention. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will be back with the Clippers. Beverley is an outstanding defender and key piece in LA.
