2020 NBA Draft mock 4.0: First 31 picks post lottery

2020 NBA Draft mock #4: Chicago Bulls- Deni Avdija
The Bulls hired Arturas Karnisovas to run Basketball Ops. They are still looking for a head coach, but have a talented young roster. Zach LaVine averaged 25.5 points per game this season. Lauri Markkanen, Coby White, and Wendell Carter Jr. are three recent lottery picks that continue to improve.
The Bulls need a wing. They could use another playmaker too. That makes Deni Avdija the perfect fit in Chicago. The 19-year-old is a 6’9 forward that can handle the ball. He has three seasons for professional experience playing for Maccabi FOX Tel-Aviv.
Avdija averaged 9.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 21.7 minutes per over 51 games this season. He improved as the year went on. Avdija showed ability as a pick and roll ball handler and continues to make strides on the defensive end. His size and athleticism have NBA teams believing he can become an above-average defender in time.
Teams are most excited about his ball-handling and playmaking combined with his experience. Avdija has a high basketball IQ and should be ready to make an immediate impact. He could be an All-Star player in his prime too. That package makes him a no-brainer choice for the Bulls at fourth overall.
